Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana (PMSYM)

The PMSYM as announced in budget 2019-20, PM has launched the scheme on 15 February, 2019. This scheme is beneficial to unorganized sector employees having salary less than Rs 15000/-. Under this scheme the beneficiary is entitled with Mandhan of Rs 3000/- per month for lifetime after attaining the age of 60 years. This is with self contribution of nominal amount as per the age of subscriber, the amount equal to contribution of subscriber is added by Government in the corpus of subscriber. This scheme is available to subscribers with age between 18 to 40 years. After life of subscriber the 50% of mandhan i.e. Rs 1500/- per month given to spouse. After the death of subscriber and spouse the corpus accumulated is deposited to pension fund and not any amount given to nominees. The details of this scheme is provided at the link given below.
