Seven things that going to change from 01 December, 2018.
- SBI Net Banking
As per SBI directives there must be a mobile no registered with Net banking account to receive alerts and messages of transactions. From 01 December the Net banking accounts with no mobile no registered are deactivated.
- ATM Cards
As per RBI directives the magnetic strip ATM cards are to be blocked from 01 January, 2019. New EVM Chip Technology Cards to be issued for replacement with old cards. Currently the transaction limit on old cards is halved by banks and fully blocked from 01 January. There is responsibilities of banks to replace all old cards.
- Drone License Registration
The drone license registration started from 01 December. The drone operator has to register to obtain UIN number before flying the drone. The commercial availability of drone services through out country.
- PAN Card
The Father name is optional field in PAN application from 05 December, 2018. However single parents has compulsion to provide parents name in PAN application.
- e-PAN Service
The people who don’t have their PAN card yet has opportunity to generate new PAN card free of cost from Income Tax Department Site. This service is available for short period of time and will be closed later.
- Digital Life Certificate of Pensioner
The Jeevan Praman service of Government of India for Digital Life Certificate of pensioners has to be used by pensioner before 30 November. Failing to generate Digital Life Certificate the pension will not be deposited to pensioner account by bank.
- SBI Buddy is closed
The most used SBI application SBI Buddy is closed now. The services of this APP is stopped from 01 December, 2018. SBI introduced new APP called YONO for customers which is more convenient.
