Life Insurance Company Of India (LIC) started its services on WhatsApp. This new facility is recently launched by LIC to its Customers. Making most of the LIC services accessible from WhatsApp, customers does not need to visit branch frequently.
Procedure To Complete To Avail WhatsApp Service:
- To avail these WhatsApp Services customers need to register on ‘LIC Customer Portal’ first.
- Add your policies there.
- Add Mobile Number to Customer Service Portal Account
- Now send “Hi” message to WhatsApp Number 8976862090 from your WhatsApp with added number.
- Avail services that you want.
- Close the session.
Presently, 10 following Services are available there:
- Premium Due
- Bonus Information
- Policy Status
- Loan Eligibility Quotation
- Loan Repayment Quotation
- Loan Interest Due
- Premium Paid Certificate
- ULIP Statement
- LIC Service Links
- Opt In/Opt Out Services
More services likely to be added in future. Customers does not need to visit LIC branches for above services. This is possible with implementation Information Technology at ground level in India. Customers should thank Digital India Program implemented by succeeding Governments.
