AICTE Scholarships To Pursue Technical Education In India

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) used to offer six types of scholarship to pursue technical education in India. Many of the students does not know this. These six types of scholarships are for diploma students as well as degree students. Total of Rs 50,000 per anum  are given to eligible students for their education. These six types are as follows:

• PRAGATI Scholarship for Girls (Technical Degree Programs)

This scholarship for girl students in technical education degree program in First/Direct Second year in AICTE approved Institutes. Total of 5000 scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates for 4/3 years respectively.

• PRAGATI Scholarship for Girls (Technical Diploma Programs)

This scholarship for girl students in technical education diploma program in First/Direct Second year in AICTE approved Institutes. Total of 5000 scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates for 3/2 years respectively.

• SAKSHAM Scholarship for Person With Disabilities (Technical Degree Program)

This scholarship for person with disability (40% and above) students in technical education degree program in First/Direct Second year in AICTE approved Institutes. Scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates for 4/3 years respectively.

• SAKSHAM Scholarship for Person With Disabilities (Technical Diploma Program)

This scholarship for person with disability (40% and above) students in technical education diploma program in First/Direct Second year in AICTE approved Institutes. Scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates for 3/2 years respectively.

• SWANATH Scholarship for Orphans (Technical Degree Program)

This scholarship for orphans students in technical education degree program in First/Second/Third/Fourth year in AICTE approved Institutes. Total of 1000 scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates.

• SWANATH Scholarship for Orphans (Technical Diploma Program)

This scholarship for orphans students in technical education degree program in First/Second/Third year in AICTE approved Institutes. Total of 1000 scholarships are offered every year throughout India to students whose family income is less than Rs 8,00,000 in last financial year. Scholarship awarded wholly on the basis of merit among the applied candidates.

These scholarships are offered every year. Eligible students has to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Whole process is online. The NSP link along with more details and terms & condition are given in resources section of post.

Last date to apply are available of NSP portal every year.
