Press Information Bureau (PIB) has started a new facility called PIB Fact Check to check genuineness of fake News, Websites and Social Media Posts about Government Schemes and Policies recently. Now its easy to counter misinformation on Government Schemes/Policies. This will help citizens to track originality and proper information about schemes and policies.
This facility available on Website, Whats app, Twitter and E-Mail. Citizen can use any of these medium to submit their queries to PIB. PIB will check the fact and communicate the genuineness of submitted query to citizen. PIB also make proper awareness about fake News, Posts and Websites in public.
