Formerly known, Rajeev Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana (RGJAY) is currently Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY) is the flagship health insurance scheme for the residents of Maharashtra. MJPJAY is running alongwith Government of India’s PMJAY scheme parallel y. Launched on 2 July, 2012 prime purpose is to provide critical illness care for low income families. Now Maharashtra government had decided to provide its cover for all residents of Maharashtra, including BPL and APL families. All types of Ration Cards are accepted to get benefits under MJPJAY. It covers 1000+ illnesses including COVID Pandemic patients. In this scheme beneficiary entitled with Cashless treatment up to Rs. 1,50,000/-, free surgeries and free Trauma Care, fallow up treatment, diagnosis, medications in empaneled hospitals. Pre Existing diseases also covered.

To avail benefits of scheme you just need a Ration Card. Approach networked hospital with valid Ration Card, a MJPJAY Card is issued to whole family.
