Today, President of India, Droupadi Murmu has appointed new governors for 13 states, some by reshuffle and some by new appointment. The appointment will be with effect from they assume their charges. The list is as follows:

Governor is the crucial constitutional post appointed by President of India on consultation with Prime Minister. It plays vital role in state politics and administration.
