Academic Bank Of Credit (ABC) is the digital credit bank introduced under National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on the occasion of its anniversary. This system has introduced portability in higher education. This system is run by University Grant Commission (UGC). Student have to create their ABC ID. This ID is shared with Institutions/University.

How It Works:

The credit earned at one Institute or university can be transferred to same Institute or other Institute or university. Respective council permission is required for this purpose. At ABC credits earned can be verified and stored and redeemed. Redemption can be done within 7 years.

ABC ID Card:

ABC Identity Card can generated at ABC website. The user manual to generate ABC ID Card is given in resources section. Students has to login with their Digilocker account. Generate ABC ID Card, Download and share with your Educators.
