Started in 2016, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) gained importance in life of farmer. It Has been started to accept crop insurance application for KHARIP 2022 from 02 July, 2022. It will last up to 31 July, 2022. This time Agriculture Insurance Company (AIC) will be the Insurer for Osmanabad district. The details about premium, sum insured…etc is as follows:

There is online application for this scheme. Link is given in resources section of website OR contact nearest Common Service Center (CSC) to apply. Farmers are requested to take crop insurance for their crops without waiting for last date.
Farmers has to report crop loss while claiming insurance within 72 hours of incidence. For claim & other queries please call on helpline given OR download PMFBY app named ‘CROP INSURANCE’ from resources section.
