Fruit Insurance scheme for Orchids i.e. Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (WBCIS), filing of application has been started for season Kharip 2020. The Bajaj Allianze General Insurance Company Has been appointed to implement this scheme for Osmanabad District this year. WBCIS is Government scheme in which farmer has to pay only 5% of premium to insure his listed fruit crop and rest of premium is borne by Government. In benefit the fruit crop of farmer get insured against natural calamities. Please go to nearest CSC, Bank Branch or apply online as early as possible to avoid last hour rush. The details of the scheme for Osmanabad district are as follows:
