Online Learning Resources: An ICT Initiative From MHRD & UGC

There is 21 days lock down to combat and as precautionary measure against COVID 19 Outbreak. All citizens are at their homes. To utilize this 3 week long period engage yourself in online learning programs. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilitates this online learning while seating at home. An ICT initiative from Ministery of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and University Grant Commission (UGC) brings this opportunity to you. They jointly launched some web portals for this purpose. You can browse these portals from your PC, Laptop, Tablet and Smartphone, round the clock over the year. The List of Web Portals along with few details and links are as follows:

  • SWAYAM Online Courses:

Best learning courses are offered on this portal free of cost. These are available with and without registration for students. Courses are designed by top institutes in the country.

It is a vertical of SWAYAM Portal. This portal hosts Study material for various Non-Technology UG/PG courses

  • e-PG Pathshala:

This Portal hosts high quality, curriculum based, intereactive e content. There are 23000 modules (e-Text and Video) of 70 Post Graduate disciplines of Social Sciences, Arts, Fine Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences & Mathematical Sciences.

This Portal hosts coursware of 87 Undergraduate disciplines with about 24110 e-content modules.
