Social media giant Facebook had plan to train 50 Lakh Indians with digital skills in upcoming 3 years. For this training program it is partnering with Central Government, State Governments, Civil Societies and Private Institutions. The main focus will be on social-economics transformation of small businesses (SMBs) in to formal economy. Up till now Facebook has covered 150 cities and 48000 villages with the support from 50 institutions. The program would make people aware of Facebook products and services. It will introduce digital marketing platform. Currently Facebook is available in 14 Indian languages.
